Â鶹ֱ²¥ Advises HonorHealth on Clinical Affiliation with ASU’s New Medical School
Â鶹ֱ²¥ & Lardner LLP represented HonorHealth, a nonprofit health care system, in its agreement to serve as the primary clinical affiliate for Arizona State University’s (ASU) new School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, a central component of ASU Health.
The partnership between HonorHealth and ASU marks a significant step forward in the development of ASU Health and represents a collaborative effort to create the clinical education programs needed for ASU’s School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering. As part of the agreement, HonorHealth will offer clinical education opportunities for ASU medical students, providing hands-on training in hospitals and outpatient facilities across Phoenix, Scottsdale, and surrounding areas. The affiliation will also cover other academic, research, and innovation programs to strengthen the HonorHealth Research Institute and its translational and clinical research programs.
ASU’s School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering expects to admit its first class of approximately 35 students in the 2026–27 academic year.
