Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Represents nVent Electric in $1.75 Billion Acquisition of Maverick Power
Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ & Lardner LLP represented nVent Electric plc (nVent), a global leader in electrical connection and protection solutions, in its definitive agreement to acquire Maverick Power for $1.75 billion, subject to customary adjustments. The transaction also includes the potential for up to $550 million in additional consideration based on the achievement of certain performance metrics in 2027 and 2028.
Maverick Power is a leading North American provider of engineered power distribution and infrastructure solutions for data centers. Headquartered in McKinney, Texas, the company manufactures low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear, integrated modular solutions, and related services. The acquisition strengthens nVent’s position in the high-growth infrastructure market, particularly data centers, by adding a power distribution platform that complements its existing offerings and expands its capabilities in new power architectures and system-level solutions and services.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approval.
