�鶹ֱ�� & Lardner LLP announced today that Matt Caplan has joined the firm’s San Francisco office as a partner in its Commercial Litigation Practice Group and Innovative Technology and Health Care & Life Sciences �鶹ֱ��. Caplan’s addition builds on �鶹ֱ��’s recent growth in California and is the latest in a series of strategic hires that deepen the firm’s capabilities across priority sectors and key markets.

Caplan, who joins �鶹ֱ�� from Cooley LLP, focuses on trade secrets, class actions, health care, and general commercial litigation. He has experience handling intellectual property and technology disputes, business and competitor matters, corporate governance issues, M&A-related claims, founder disputes, employment-related litigation, and other complex commercial cases. He regularly represents technology and health care companies, including emerging innovators, in disputes from trial through appeal.

Caplan is the eighth partner to join �鶹ֱ��’s California offices in the past three months and the fourth in Northern California, reflecting the firm’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the region and expanding its litigation, corporate, and IP offerings to support clients in high-growth sectors.
